Impact

• The William N. Pennington Applied Tech Scholarship is awarded to students studying Advanced Manufacturing, Architecture and Design Technology, Auto, Construction Management, Diesel, HVAC, Machining or Welding. They must have a 2.0 GPA and be enrolled in 6 credits. Scholarships will be given to students who plan to remain in Northern Nevada upon completion of their program.

• The William N. Pennington Foundation Dental Hygiene Scholarship is open to first-year Dental Hygiene students who have a 3.0 GPA or higher who demonstrate financial need. Students receiving this scholarship will receive $4,500 for their first semester and $2,350 their second semester as long as they maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA and are in good standing with the College. In addition, students who continue to meet the stated requirements will receive $1,700 their third semester and $1,350 their fourth semester.

• The William N. Pennington Foundation Nursing Scholarship is awarded each semester to the entering cohort of the Maxine S. Jacobs Nursing Program and continuing students. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, demonstrate financial need and be residents of Northern Nevada.

• The William N. Pennington Veterinary Technician Scholarship will be awarded to students who are enrolled in the Vet Tech program with a 3.0 GPA. Scholarships will be given to students who plan to remain in Northern Nevada upon completion of their program.
